St Clements Bushwalkers

The St Clement’s Bushwalkers group started back in March 1993 with a 5km walk at Mt Glorious.

Since then, the Bushwalkers Group has been offering the opportunity for families, singles - people of all ages and abilities - to engage in a range of bushwalking experiences in our national parks, local parks and urban environs.

The bushwalkers also enjoy an annual 4WD day exploring beach, bush or rural areas.

We meet approximately once a month - there is a mix of short, gentle walks for the not so experienced, and of longer harder walks for the experienced.

There is a quiet time for reflection on God's work and a social time when we stop to eat.

The bushwalkers believe that for good physical and mental health it is important for all of us, but especially those in populated city areas, to experience 'time out' and 'time away' in our natural environment and those man-made constructions created purposefully for us for rest and recreation.

Our group encourages car pooling and will do our best to accommodate those who can't easily access transport.

BUSHWALKING takes very little out of your pocket and the returns are great, exercising out in the fresh air and appreciating the world's natural beauty; and at the same time enjoying the company of new found friends.

If you love exploring the great outdoors, come and join us on our next walk.
